Fine Quality Timber Sdn Bhd “FQ” is a Family Run Remanufacturing Company & Remanufacturing Service Provider.

With the inception date of 28^th September 1988, FQ’s establishment was back by Chew Yoon Sang’s exposure in the saw milling operation in the 1960s combined with factory operational management experiences and production experiences in general moulding lines & finger jointing line mill in the early 1970s.

This moulding DNA has been passed on to the 2^nd generation of Chews family and today it enabled all Chews family members to be at the front line and hands on of FQ’s daily manufacturing production processes and daily business operations. FQ is currently jointly managing by the first and second generation of Chews family.

The fundamental concept of Fine Quality Timber’s operations is to respectfully utilize natural resources to it’s optimum level hence turning every piece of lumber extracted from precious trees, developing it into a wide range of solid and engineered timber products, embedded it for better living and comfort housing for family as well as industrial purposes.

FQ’s passion in client centric and persistency in service orientated approach has enabled FQ to develop a range of high quality products which includes FQ Cladding, FQ Panel, FQ Glulam, FQ Stairs, FQ Decking, FQ Jambs, FQ Floors, FQ Mouldings, FQ Windows Components, FQ Posts, FQ Shelves, FQ Tops, FQ Paneling and FQ Sticks for indoor, outdoor and industrial applications. The fundamental philosophy of FQ’s approach is to maximize the applications and presention of a few selected exotic and engineered timber.

Building on years of manufacturing expertise FQ has started to provide on shore remanufacturing services for other Malaysia exporters in the 1980s and solutions oriented offshore remanufacturing services partnership with FQ’s overseas clientele since year 2006.
